400HP+ Turbo Engine Rebuild Kit - D16
Often thought of as the poor cousin to the B series, the D series can pack some surprising punch with a turbo strapped on. Furthermore, with the YCP Vitara pistons working so well and being so affordable, building a motor is really not that expensive!
We have put together a fantastic kit with everything you need to have your short block ready to rock (bar seals/belts/pumps - which we can also supply).
This Rebuild Kit Includes:
- YCP Vitara Pistons & Rings - 75.5mm
- SpeedFactory No Notch Long Rods
- King Race Bearings
- Arp Head Studs
- Cometic Head Gasket
Of special note is the SpeedFactory Connecting Rods, which unlike other brands, do NOT require any notching of the block, AND, with their increased length mean compression is increased by 1 whole point to around 8.8:1 depending on block/head combination. This results in an easier build and much fatter power curve.
