The stock Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (MAP) is only a 2.5 BAR. It tops out around 23-24psi and accuracy becomes decreased around 22-23psi. To ensure accuracy in those pressure ranges or over, it's critical to upgrade to a 3 BAR sensor.

This manifold absolute pressure sensor precisely measures the absolute pressure in your intake manifold and compares it with a vacuum reference. Plus, it also allows your engine management system to accurately detect inlet air temperature, as well as manifold pressure. This integrated Bosch T-MAP sensors is extremely robust and it's not sensitive to oils, fuels, or fluids

Applications: 2006 - 2013 Mazdaspeed 3/6 and CX-7
