It's large cross-sectional design and smooth transition down to the turbo create a turbulent free and efficient flow of oxygen rich air to the turbo, increasing performance and improving throttle response.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe JBR DISI turbo inlet hose is constructed out of 6 layers of high-performance silicone and four 5 layers of reinforcement, not 3 like most others. In addition to the reinforcement, the inner core of the silicone has a wire skeleton wrapped throughout to prevent collapsing under vacuum. The high-temperature silicone is far superior at insulating the intake air from extreme engine temperatures then aluminium is. Cooler intake air is denser and therefore capable of making more power.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe joiners used to connect the intake and recirculation hoses are made of thick-walled 6061 aluminium and bead rolled to ensure a secure and leak-free connection.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo corners were cut when designing the JBR DISI turbo inlet hose.
